Our paper presentation session was attended by about forty conference attendees. After our presentation we had a session of discussion. We have received a number of thought provoking questions from the audience after our presentation. We plan to work on the idea of the paper presented for a book chapter in near future. I have already started a wikispaces for the people interested and requested for a CIDER Special Interest Group on e-portfolio. I have made some contacts for future research collaboration and faculty and student exchange program. dc.description.abstractThis is a major question for everyone involved in introducing technological innovations in education. Governments in many countries are trying very hard by providing finances and industry on the other hand giving award and equipment in order to introduce ICT innovations in the education sector in a large scale. We can see pockets of ongoing innovations in the introduction of technology in education from last decade or so and most recently with the introduction of technology in distance education. Still it seems that there is a long way to go. The question is that if use of technology will ever happen in education as it happened in banking sector or e-government organizations? And do we really need to revolutionize the education sector? Or should we always remain in the process of evolution and keep moving as the technology changes.en
